In the post it explains that Japan adds taxes to older cars to incourage buying a new car. Basicly the older cars dont have up to date emission equipment so they want to get rid of them. So people turn them in when they buy a new car and then they just sit. Then they get sent to a junk yard and get striped for parts.

yea when i saw the pic i was thinkin how big of a waste it was. then i came up with the idea, why not buy a jdm conversion in japan?? im gonna see if my uncle can pick one up for me (ship captain for transport ship), and skip all those import fees and crazy shipping. i hate those $3000 metal conversion in america. what a rip!
