i will try to tomorrow if i can remeber. yes the stroker kits are extremely expensive they went up to 2300 since i looked at them last. there a 92mm stroke and there is no other tegg that has that stroke on it that i can find on the specs list so im going to see if i can just buy the stuff seperrately somewhere else. i can get rods for 350 and a crank for about that and already have pistons so that will be alot less then 2300 for sure. will see what happens. i will keep everyone posted on everything and put up pics as soon as i start to build, im waiting on the block to get back from the machine shop right now.

Go boost I have $750 in a DIY Ebay turbo! 97 GSR B18C w/ type-R pistons and cams. @ 8psi on the street about 280 and 12psi for track about 325hp. Atleast thats what my G-Tech Pro tells me

hahahahaha very funny. i am building a 383 right now with 900+ whp just got to figure what i want to put it in. im going to build a ls/vtec to the max with out going over 5000 before i turbo in aftermarket parts. thats with me doing all of the work so its just part price. but i was looking at brian crowers website last night and they had a strocker kit for my motor but they wanted 1900 for it. thats fucking crazy, when i can go out and pull the crank and rods out of another motor or buy the after market eagles for that motor and stick in mine. same shit just a whole lot less money. thanks for the info though guys, i appreciate it, now i am pretty much sure which route to take.
your 900hp includes the blower hahah, i had a 408 stroker with 570hp N/A

no my 900 includes a 250 shot of nitrous a 900 cfm quadrajet, 40 over piston a 768 lift cam ported out the ass head and then polished, 212 valves, weiner with slot induction intake, knifed crank and a few extra tricks to the block to keep shit from flexing, oh and h beam rods. i copied a book i read when we did it on how to build high horsepower small block chevys on a budget. it pays to read sometimes. look it up and you will see the dyno print outs in the book and exactly how to build one. just got to be willing to spend the 100 + hours on porting the head. and when i say port n polished guys im not talking about taking a sand disc on a dremmel tool and going over it to shave some of the rough stuff down , im talking about getting a carbide bit to cut out the walls of the head then taking sand disc to polish it. very expensive and time consuming but worth every penny.

Some people will say polish it smooth, but I think keeping some ridges/scratching in the port walls will keep the air tumbling and prevent the fuel from falling out of suspension.

Eagle makes a stroker kit, and I believe Crower does too.

well i just got done on my turbo setup it puts out 400hp and torque i forgot the turbo setup is a fullrace turbo kit with a gt35r twin scroll anti-lag but its not a cheap setup and i can boost more just keepin it there cuz i use my da for a daily until i get a db but forced induction is the best way to go some

thats what im going to do. but i still going to look up about the stroker kits from eagle thanks mirror, i dont have the money to get a turbo right now so im going to build a hard core motor with a low enough compression that it will still work nice with a turbo later. engine is at the machine shop right now get punched 40 and cleaned. hopefully n a couple of weeks i will have the money for the rods and im going to turn the crank n knife it if i dont look at getting a stroker kit. im going to get the measurements on crank and rods and see if there any stock engines with the same measurements. and after i figure that out and get done with those parts im grabbing up some arp studs and putting the lower end together.painting block black and head metallic red, valve cover camillion green.ill post pics up as soon as i get them painted and start getting it together. keep posting stuff if there is other things that would help with doing this kind of motor or just things to remind me what to do since i will be going turbo before i put in the motor. thanks

actually skunk2's B20 Vtec on pro2 cams or pro3 cams made 275whp with an intake manifold. I believe with individual throttle bodies you will be able to reach 290ish and a good tune on hondata s300 or apexi.

Im pretty sure with the killer cams you will be able to hit 300whp, but that wont be a daily driver, killer cams cant idle under 5000

Crank HP or Wheel HP?

Don't forget that dyno numbers aren't always that accurate, and fluctuate between different dyno's. 275 on one dyno can be 265 on another.

i know but those dyno numbers do prove it can be done i believe its whp. I think that ive seen a similar build with the same numbers.
