HID Questions Answered Here

I already have a set of hids (previous owner installed them) But my question is, why are the hids hooked up to the battery and I think there are 2 sets of harnesses or whatever and wires connecting everything. I bought an hid kit for my old car (2000 honda accord) and there was no need to connect it to the battery, all i had to do was plug in a harness supplied with the hid kit to my headlight harness and that was it. Are all hid kits for integras hooked up to the battery?

Also, where do you guys mount the ballast? the previous owner zip tied it to the strut bar and it moves around too much so I wanna relocate it to another spot, but can't seem to find a good place to mount it.

so if i have a 94. want hid's in my projectors, i get that cover thing? as well as with a the bulbs and the ballasts. so thats 3 things. all around price for the set up?

so a friend of mine offered me h1 8k hid "plug and play" kit i just need to know if that will fit in my 94 ls thanks
