HID problems!!!!!!!

i got a set of hid i put everything on right but it does not turn on with my 98 teg, so i have a toyota camry also which usues the same bulb so i tryed that and it works on the camry!!!

whats going on is my socket not giving enough power? is it a socket problem!??!? i dont get it!

Not enough power to your ballasts? are you using too much power in your car for other stuff?

sometimes you really gotta check the connections on the HIDs and your socket...sometimes the lil prongs dont touch enough or the socket itself might need a lil bit of shaving. g/l

yeah it goes all the way in i shaved the stoppers so it goes all the way in, the only other thing on for power is my cd player, just the other day when i was putting it on my passenger side light stoping working,

no i did all of that switch things around, even tried new hid bulbs still nothing and now im left with a broken passenger side headlight. i dont know y it works with my Camry though and not with my teg....

Real Good!
you can try maybe getting a wiring harness, see if that does it. unless u already have one.
when ur hids dont get enough power your your stock wiring atleast one will turn on but both...hard to say
im sure you tried putting ur stock bulb back on and it works?

its works just fine when i put on my stock bulbs, i acutally have a set of 8k bulbs not hid kit thought that works fine, tired both sides nothing, both at the same time nothing.

if you sure your ballast works....then you should to get a hid realy harness...i had the same problem on my 07 tl...the harness fixed it...it gives power to the ballast staight from the battery
