find wiring schematics for the circuits that are powered through the fuses that keep blowing. check out the wiring and find a short. most likely a short to ground
Yup, this always happens. Usually you just keep blowing the fuse. But its that illumination wire thats giving you issues. It SHOULD be properly installed to another illumination circuit, but in your case with your expertise it would probably be better to just to separate it from any other wire and tape it off. In fact if I were you I would attach a butt-connector to the wire then tape it (sometimes the tape can come off, the butt-connector is a piece of insurance in case that happens). Basically without the illumination/dimmer wire at night when you turn your lights on your radio wont get darker automatically, thats the only side effect.
