It reminds me of this guy who came to our shop with his civic. He said "this dang thing won't stop overheatin." Said he just replaced the head gasket on it. So I said pull it in and pop the hood; I look, dear lord this thing's got silicone smeared all over the head and block. Asked the guy why he siliconed the new gasket, he looked at me wide eyed and said "boy that gasket was over a hundred dollas, they're not ripping me off! I just got me a tube a RTV and made ma own." I quoted him the lowest price I could and he drove that thing right back up the street, blowing smoke not just from the exhaust, but one big cloud surrounding the car. :lol:
