help my engine idles up and down

umm your Idle Air Control Valve. (IACV) In older hondas 95 and older these have a hot wax in them that controls engine idle. This hot wax system used eventualy wears down and causes the IACV to malfunction. Replace this and your motor should Idle Fine.

That wouldn't throw an engine coolant temp light. He has to take care of that before he looks into the IACV, it could also be a vacuum leak.

ok so i was mesen arounf with sum vacum lines and it started to run at a steady idle speed but now that it runs at a steady speed it smokes these are the vavum lines that i was talken about any help or diagrams of were these hoses would go would be good cuz sum of them arent connected and i dont no were they go and i cant find it in the manualhttp

Left cylinder = Fuel pressure regulator control solenoid valve
Middle cylinder = Evaporative emission purge control solenoid valve
Box on the right = Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor

ok well i got it idleing alrit now but now it smokes i dont no y the smoke is like dark grey almost blak so i duno wut else it could be i was thinkin maybe a bad feul filter i duno
