there is rust and a white buildup on some of the circuits...maybe thats the culprit! manual says something about if the led lights just blinks the ecu might need to be replaced, cause there could be a short in it somewhere.....

I say replace the ecu. Even if it ends up not being the culprit right now, it will be soon. And you can't beat $50
