The ecu IS supposed to be under the passenger seat.. it is in my 88 integra. If it isnt then it will be under the drivers seat. But I have seen very weird changes between the 86, 87 compaired to the 88, 89(dash, fuse box config, interior colors)
But regardless.. The 1st gen is 0bd1 already, dont need to convert. Not to mention, last I checked, you cant convert from 0bd0 to 0bd1.. Might have changed now though.
