hey guys, gotta little update, kind combined the K&N intake with the stock airbox. check it:)

first i installed the K&N intake tube

then i installed the heat shield

rusty bolt (the only one i had lol)

then i installed the bottom half of the stock air box, i had to trim some of the mounts.

it actually its at more of an angle, thats why i had to trim one of the mounts

then i combined the stock neck with the K&N filter

then i slid the stock neck over the K&N intake tube, and tightened it with a hose clamp

i had pictures of the fitment of the filter in the box but i cant find them lol

then i installed the top half of the intake box

finished product

note: i had to do a overflow bottle relocate to install the airbox

Just call me chris.
now you need to get a nitrogen cooling system for a computer and run it in your air box.

my next step is to degrease the shit out of the whole engine bay. wish i had the funds to build this car the way i want, but in the mean time i will just do the little things:)

I still don't understand why u would want to cover up a cone filter... the heat shield and the hood will isolate the filter enough.. putting it inside a box is just taking away from the advantages of a nice cone filter.
