im jus curious why folks want to remove the sound deadening?

btw have you tried using dry ice to remove it? it hardens it and basically chips off with a chizzle and hammer.

removing the sound deadening because because i want the hear everything that is going on. Also, if i wanted a nice and quite ride, i would of bought a lexus.

Where can u get dry ice? Most gas stations don't have them.

Alot of grocery stores sell it. Most Randall's grocery stores do if you have those around
no Randall's around here. All we have are super-walmarts and Reasoors. since it was 40 degrees out, i thought is was almost as cold as ice so i went back to work. And yes the deadening does seem to chip off better in colder temps. pretty much done with the deadening now. with the interior stripped, I most of taken out around 100 ibs worth of weight from my car. maybe more.

Un-expected delivery on a Saturday? I didn't know they worked on Saturday.

So any ways.....

bought this.

It is from Honda, it's a 2007/2008 Crv antenna

It will be replacing the rear windshield water squirter on top of the roof No longer need the squirter if i am removing the rear wiper. Plugging with the existing antenna hole. I think this is a much better then telescopic metal bent pole that i currently have. No pics of this installed for a least a couple of months. just gathering more parts for the transformation.
