Well i fianlly saved up enough, therefore now I need your opinion. Turbo kit 3200, intercooler 900. Btw my car is a automatic ls. Yes I know it is a automatic but for the time being it is going to stay auto. So my question is can i get away without a tune?

a.k.a. crabs!
you dont need to tune anything... just dont expect it to be reliable...

The Greedy kit BLOWS!!! For the cost. And I mean blows more than Paris Hilton after 5 Yager Bombs.

This kit is pretuned and will work. Prob will be about 75-80% efficient. They have it tuned on the safe side to compensate for everyone having a differnt motor health. But if you havent bought it yet, DONT GET IT

I am planning to buy it sometime this week. Now i am having double thoughts... so you say it is overpriced?
btw the price is canadian..$3200. I really don't know any other respectable turbo kits here besides turbonetics.

if your going to stay auto id say go supercharger. if not go ahaed and get the kit, but get it tuned. tuning makes the wole difference. did you even look into getting something done by a localshop? sometimes you will get etter prts for less. or make a kit by buying all the parts you need, you will probably save money if you shop around

JRSC has gotten cheap. You can pick up a nice LS setup on eBay or forums. I'm going JRSC, have it sitting in my bedroom lol :)

PERSONALLY: I'd be really concerned about my toque converter, and transmission,...and don't do anything without a tune d'oh its not worth f_cking up your engine/whatever,then not being able to afford fixing it b/c all your monet just went to your shiny new turbo/super. Now you have a wonderful boosted automatic that doesn't get you to work or school ,much less be able to race on track night, lol.

I find myself always asking people this. You have alot to consider when making a rather large modification like forced induction to a car. What are you expecting to get /gain from this modification? What is your budget? Future plans? Is this car a daily driver? Do you need to rely on this car to get you to work, class,or other commiments? Do you want to drag race? Autox? etc...

What other supporting mods ae you going to do? Your gonna need to upgrade your suspension (if you havent already) and other stuff...not neccesarily NEED to per say, but its a good idea :)

but the kit comes with emanage which is pretuned.
That is essentially a base map to get you started. There will still be alot left on the table in the performance and driveability area's if it is fine tuned to perfection. That is enough to get you started and your car running alright but not optimal

rev hard makes a kit, turbonetics makes a kit, peakboost makes a kit... all those put the greddy kit to shame. its a nice kit if you have to worry about getting past emissions and what not, but if you are wanting power, get something else.
