Got the GsR dyno'd today

I actually think the numbers are correct, especially since he used a dynojet. Stock GSR motors will normally put out around 140-145. With his bolt-ons, 153 does sound accurate. I have a friend that dyno'd his EM1 with a Type-R motor about 2 months ago. He has an AEM CAI and an RS-R ExMAg. His EM1 put out around 180-185 whp.

About the SRT-4: You can't compare an NA Honda motor to the SRT's turbocharged one. OF course you're going to get different reactions.

hey OBD1.. that comptech header your using, is that the same one from your b18b motor??
cuz if it is, just by upgrading the header to 2.5" you'll have much more high end power, when i first did my swap i ran it with that header and 2.25" test pipe, then i upgraded both to 2.5" and its much better, pulls to redline

I guess you're right. Plus he's just got minor bolt-on's.

I do agree you should step up the collector size. Depends on the mods you do in the future but maybe 2.25 or 2.36? How big is your comptech header collector, obd1?

The Comptech is 2in I believe, my other plans are cams, intake manifold if I go n/a if not i"ll just throw a jackson on there!

Stock GS-R's typically put down 150whp. Mine put 150.1whp bonestock w/ 100k+ miles on the only run I ever did. 140 would be quite low. We just through it on real quick just to see while tuning the GSX. Dodge underrated the hell out of the SRT4

you might end up with more high end power with a 2.5" header but even if he adds another what 5 HP maybe a little more hes going to end up killing his low and mid range and all the power will be at top and its not going to be a "strong" 153 HP

Humm there ok #s my buddy has a gsr with chepo intake header and exhaust and put down 162whp and 121 tq but thats with chrome8) tuned
