would the bolt locations be the same on a 90 distrubuter to fit the 98 head?

ill see if i can get a better pic of the things that are plugged on the intake tommorow.

thanks for all the help.....it frustrates me that i havnt even got to really drive the car yet and now im stuck with it not running anymore.

I would think so but I'm not positive. My obd1 distributor bolted to my 91 obd-0 head with no problems so I would think it would work. Do you have another obd-0 distributor? I would definitely try that and see if the car runs any better.

yea ill have to try another distributor...its off of a 91 b18a1 so it should be the correct one.
thanks for all the help again

yea that should work. If its obd-1 or obd-2 it wont plug into the harness anyways.

yea i was reading on doingt the obd-1 conversion but i dont think i need to do that.

id be happy just to have it run like it did before, then i could figure out all the swap issues instead of non running issues.
when i do get it running ill have to check out your swap and compare so i know whats goin on.
you say you have a 94 up intake too?

Well i got a "frankenstein" thing going on too. lol. I got a 95(obd-1) b18b1 with a 91 head with 95 cams and the original b18a1 intake manifold. Its a long story how I ended up with all this but it runs great with no c/e lights. If you have too much trouble getting it running, I could come out one day and take a look and maybe we could figure it out.

ha wow lol. as long as it works it dont matter haha. yea if i cant get it figured out im sure two heads are better than one, and at least you know about the swap more than i do....im more of a chevy LS1 type ha.
but i would love to learn all about the hondas

Yea i even recently did a compression test and leak down test and got 190 on all cylinders and 0% leakage on 2 cylinders and got 1% leakage on the other two which is excellent. Kinda surprised me.

But there are some differences in our cars since yours is obd-0. It always sucks trying to figure out what someone else did to the car.

yea it probly wouldnt hurt to do a leak down on my car just to see what kind of shape its in. the top end looked good when i pulled the valve cover....needs a oil change but when it did run the valves were real quiet and no tick

I wouldnt definitely try to get it running right before you do a leak down because if your valve timing is still off, you wont get an accurate reading on the leak down. But if you fail at all attempts to get it running, I would then do a leak down.

no i havnt changed the valve cover gasket or spark plug tube grommets yet...its on my list for when i paint the valve cover. i took the distributor apart and it had moisture in it so i dried it out.
