GOOOOD deal?

aye im bout to buy this package is it a good deal... 375$ for ITR cams, cam gears, valve springs and retainers, all from a type r and been used for 30k miles... i need to kno if this is a good deal.. and also should i buy after market cam gears or is the itr gears coo, and how can i tell that they are type r cams?

That's a good deal as long as nothing's damaged. You can use the stock ITR gears of course, but they're not adjustable. If you ever want to tune the cams, which you definitley will to get the most out of them, you'll need aftermarket gears. I don't know how to positivley identify ITR cams, but I know how to identify ITR valve springs, the intake springs are painted yellow on the bottom of the spring, the exhaust springs are unpainted.

I cant remember exactly right off hand but it is on the Intake cam and I believe the ITR has 2 "rings" on the distributer side. I will have to try and find pics of it.
