good turbo build?

I have a obd1 jdm b16 with stock intake with edlebrock 65mm throttle body. Full msd 6a digital igniton and blaster ss coil,ngk wires stock oem plugs. psi test showed 175 psi on all pistons. parts i have ordered. xenocron 255 fuel pump lph all ready installed. clutch is exedy stage 1 with act fly wheel. type r tranny.

These are the parts im wondering about.
hondata s300 with boost control and mtx-l o2 to run all the time.
Precision Turbo 650cc injectors
Precision Turbo 3231E 55mm inducer
godspeed type INTERCOOLER KIT not sure yet on whos got the best price.
aem meth kit
3' exhuast with magnaflow 3 " in 4" out
msd Power grid for pc timing retard control.
ngk 1 step colder.
greedy type rz bov
Not sure yet on a good wastegate.
cast turbo manifold. becuase you can get them cheap and they last.

My goals are 10 psi. Im looking for 260 to 280 wheel horse. This is a summer daily driver. I want to be able to run pc in the car witch is why im getting so much ecu upgrades. This car is a auto cross car plus show car me and my wife run a car club here in wa that holds high goals. I would like the boost to start around 2k to 2500 rpm maxx and pull hard tell 8200 or longer but i will be changing gears around than. Is 55 trim the right turbo for this? thanks for all the info. Also i want to be able to see codes and hondata looks like it can do that also.Is 3" to big for what im asking or prefect im looking to try to get ride of boost lag.

It sounds like you know your stuff.
3" exhaust should be fine with your set up, and your probably looking at a 38mm Tial wastegate.

I'll let someone else chime in for your other questions.

Where are you located in Washington?

spokane wa. Are car club is www.velocitysyndicate.com my car is the teggy and my wifes is the 350z. teggy is getting re painted at the same time its getting boost and i have taken all the trim off the sides of the car. Doing all the paint my self.

you dont need any of that msd crap
and trash the meth kit as well, that stuffs for 1khp drag cars, if you were wanting it to be more reliable check into water injection.

and i dont know about spooling at 2500rpms, you would need a small turbo adn it would peak before redline. My .57 t3/t04E spools at 3500-4000

I got the msd stuff because my factory honda dist with 20k miles on died and i hate factory parts. Have you even heard of a power grid before it just came out. And meth kit is 50/50 water and meth and its only 300 and i want to cool the air temp down. Other wise i was going to water to air cooling setup witch i still am thinking about. Even my dsm was hiting boost around 2500 and pulls tell 7600. I know bigger motor. but i would like to try to find a turbo that could be around 5 psi at 2500 min

stock dsm trubos are tiny, like i said, you cna hit boost that low but it wont want to make power all the way up.

and like i said, you dont need meth, you can just do straight water injection to keep it coll and not worry about buy alcohol all the time.

and honda oem ignition parts are fine, they go out sometimes but they work good, ive had a full msd ignition before and it is shit, all msd parts are shit

I do agree the factory stuff should be fine. It was probably a fluke yours went bad at 20k. However I don't agree with Tyler saying that all MSD stuff is shit. I've seen very good results from it.

there is just no need for any of that stuff unless your making 1000hp on a $50,000 drag civic, all it does is cause problems... its not worth the hassle.

The clutch has been in there 20k all ready and i know if it slips im going stage 2 exedy. I have had great luck with exedy stage 1 in the past. The msd stuff is all ready on the car and no problems. so im not going to worry about it. When d you think a 55mm turbo will start to make boost? If its past 2500 rpm to be making boost would a 52 mm turbo be better for me?

sell your ignition stuff. Not needed at all. The idea of meth makes me cringe. Relying on another liquid for my car other than fuel doesnt seem like a good choice imo.

Tial wastegate or Turbosmart

If youre autocrossing I would try and get a hold of a garrett super 60 or a 5557

I all ready haev the msd stuff working and if i get ride of it now i will have to buy parts to fix the dist since it was a piece of shit and died, Meth is easy. I have lots of friends using it. It has warning lights and sounds when shit goes wrong. Im more worried what to do about my motor that just blew out. Not sure how much i need to put in to the head. What im thinking is gsr cams and kms ti retainers with super-tech valve springs. And wiesco with eagle rod for the bottom end with golden eagle block guard. now since the motor is done and needs a rebuild i was thinking if i waste all this time doing this i might as will go for 400 whp start with 350 and end at 400.
