Don't forget that camgears necessitate appropriate springs... if you are getting skunk2 camgears then get skunk2 dual valve springs, or you will worst case drop a valve

You don't even compare the two, hondata > chrome.

If you are getting cams I would highly suggest valvetrain. If you had just cam gears it wouldn't be a problem but as mentioned before, you can end up bending valves easily with aftermarket cams on factory valvetrain.

alright cool so it looks like im gonna go with the valves, springs n retainers too and hondata, any suggestions on which hondata i should get? and does the brand of parts i get for the valvetrain make a difference? im sure theres better products for that then skunk2, or will skunk2 be suitable?

Magnaflow is fine. Definately get a valve train appropriate for your cams. I woulde follow the recommendation by the cam manufacturer for proper upgrades. The general recommendation for tuning is to get what your tuner if familiar with. If you prefer one type over another then find a tuner that can tune on that program. Valve train materials are very important so yes brand does matter but i dont think theres any ebay shit manufacturers making valve trains. S2, supertech etc. Research for your cams.

the skunk2 website is saying stock valvetrain is fine for the stage 1 tuner cams but it recomends gettin a fuel pressure regulator and/or bigger injectors, does this mean theres no need to get valves at this point?
