Hate to say it but that SRT-4 would smoke all those honda's your mentioning and unfortunetly there really not that bad of cars anymore. It's a neon chassis but just about all of the parts are upgraded from the norm.

just about everyone of these i've seen turbo'ed has blown up. the engine isn't very strong for boost and its hard to pack in an efficient intercooler that doesn't he soak. a vvtli celica engine in it would be fun

If your talking about reliability, that can be a factor in almost any car. I've owned dsm's in the past and had tons of troubles with them. From the 4G63 motors blowing to breaking axles and you probablly know how bad those things eat up cluthes. IMO Toyota makes good cars and there engines are strong. A sub 2200lb car with stock 140hp and then a turbo kit that will have the car putting down well over 200 isn't a bad idea. I think that would be one fast MF! As for boost issues, any non turbo car you run boost through is eventually going to end up needing some maintance, but with 7 pounds the biggest problems in the long run might be needing some new rings or a head gasket which will eventually go anyway, and thats really not that big a deal in my eyes. But even without the turbo that car still handles like a champ and with the MR setup in that light of a car will be a blast to drive.
