Getting a ticket in front of your house

got the same thing on my old s13 a neighbor had reported it abandoned (daily driver) because she thought my family had too many cars (parents had 3 and me and my gf at the time had 2 s13s and an eclipse) he wrote me up for no plate and put a thing saying if it didnt move in 48 hours it would be impounded. he came back through and my mom happened to be outside and told him that it was mine and i worked graveyard shift and he told her that they had a complaint it was abandoned. I park the dc5 on the street with no front plate w/o issue. Law always confused me cuz there are several vehicles that dont even have mounts from factory and motorcycles dont have em either. Just another revenue generator

I don't get harassed with either of my cars that don't have front plates.


And to you people who have it on the dash/in front window, I can't wait til you get into an accident and get your face sliced open by your plate flying at you at 50mph!

Not trying to be a dick, but that's a HUGE safety hazard. And maybe you'll learn after needing facial reconstruction for being ignorant.

Thank god mine is safely attached to my front bumper. OP, just put your stupid plate back on. Unless you like throwing money away.

Funny thing happened today. When I got back to my car after class, what do I find? But a nice $25 ticket for no front plate. I was pretty surprised. Here I was thinking cops around my town had better things to do like preventing crime rather than write measly tickets. Oh well I'll pay it, but I'm not puttin a front plate on my car any time soon. I'm not hurtin anyone by not having it on my front and it's still visible anyway.
