lol that always works. i just have two subs so if one goes (which i doubt) i have a back up

car is looking clean, did you fix your antenna?

I actually did fix it. I conned it to the red wire on the car in the beginning. After doing some research, it is suppose to be plugged up to the yellow/green wire. Did that and all the local stations picked up(that's all I get in the driveway). Now all I need is an extender cable so I can actually plug it up to the radio.

Looking at a new sub. Not sure if I should stick with a 10 or upgrade to a 12?

12 are easier to get good bass, 10 if your getting an alpine type r or type x, love those little subs they sound like 2x12's when i had mine

Size is not the upgrade. A quality speaker is. My 10 hits way harder and sounds better than my friends dual 12's

I'm lo8king at a Rockford fosgate r2d4. The 10 and 12 both handle the same amount of power and so on. Anything is better then my half blown Jbl.

rockford fosgate is nice, but i blew a P3 without even trying, i have 2x12 mtx thunder 5500 right now they dont seem like there going to quit anytime soon

I have an 8 year old jl audio 12" w7, still kicks the pants off many setups out there

I have no clue what kind of power to give this sub. I took it out the box and there's no markings on the sub at all. It just says jbl on the front. I did notice a 3-4 inch separation in the outter edge of it. It seems like it slaps at certain times and tries to distort . I have adjusted the amp and there's just no in between. Either it doesn't hit or it sounds shitty.
