Fuel Rail Fitment Problem OEM DB8

I'm pretty new to using forums, I've been on it for a while but not that great at it. I've tried searching multiple forums (clubintegra, honda-tech, and teamintegra) with no luck. If anyone knows a thread that solves my problem please ignore me and post a link to it if you can, i'm not trying to flood the forums with stupid questions. Anyways.. It might be a long read...

A few weeks ago, I bought a DB8, original motor, except the person before me installed an AEM fuel rail, I'm into having my cars run like stock, and it's a pet peeve of mine to have any aftermarket parts obviously installed on my car, and the bright orange fuel rail isn't helping. After searching information on fuel rails I had found that LS/RS/GS all use the same fuel rail and fuel injectors (240cc I believe?). So I went to my local scrapyard to purchase a fuel rail, It came off a 99 LS integra, and he even let me keep the intake manifold that it was attached to cause he was lazy to take it off. Anyways I go home and try to attach the fuel rail, on to the OEM gsr intake manifold and it doesn't fit. It wouldn't go down all the way and sit flush and leaves a huge gap. The only way I could fit it is if I remove the seal rings at the bottom of the intake manifold, and that's not an option.. Is there something that i'm doing wrong? If I didn't explain well enough I can post pictures upon request! Thanks guys!

Obviously an LS fuel rail isn't going to fit on a GSR manifold. You need a GSR fuel rail
Are you sure? I really do appreciate you for your help but I've seen multiple threads where they say that all B18 fuel rails/injectors are the same, and I have not yet seen a thread stating that they were different. Also when i'm looking for the OEM gsr fuel rails they still advertise it as both LS/GSR.

When they say GS i hope you know it doesn't mean GSR. Anyways, if that's what you read and that's what you believe, then i hope you accomplish getting an LS rail to fit on a GSR manifold.

Yeah well I did buy a GSR, knowing what it is. I can see the difference when it's written GS or GSR. And hey found out the fuel rails are exactly the same, GSR intake manifold just requires spacers in between that fills the gap.
