Shoulder to hip belt is usless without a lap belt to evenly distribute impact from a collision.

If you want to disable airbags just buy a car that never came equipped with them like my EF.

Im confused...what would be the difference with buying a car that never came with SRS vs removing it?
To me, its the same thing. the crash test is still conducted with body(hood, fenders, rear end) crushing point in mind.
Side impacts can happen and where is the SRS on these for that?

If he was going to get a harness he would end up defeating the srs. Making it usless.

Might aswell drive a car without airbags standard was the reason I brought up my ef.

Airbags are not bad for you. Sure the old ones at low speed could cause problems. Going 50 mph and hitting someone/something, they're protecting your neck, chest, and back from worse injury.
