I agree, the reception of the Shark II doesn't cut it.Yeah, I can say for the Shark II Antenna, the quality is not that good. I don't listen to the radio that much but when I do, it's very staticy. I just bought it for cosmetic purposes being that I didn't want my car to look like a toy r/c car. Lol
I had one and I have a slightly different take on the 'look'. When I am looking at my car the stock antenna looks best because only the small chrome base nut is visible. No antenna shows. The Shark II looked ok but it still showed too much.
When I am in my car and listening to the radio I can't see the antenna unless I scrunch down to look for it in the rear view mirror. So since I can't see it who cares. I mean, when you see another Integra drive by, is the antenna what you notice. And if it is what you notice, do you think the other driver gives a damn?
I don't.
Ps. I bought a spare antenna nut and am going to paint it black to make it 'disappear' even more. Once that is done the only 'bright' spots on the body of the car will be the three silver disks of the locks. Stealth mode.
