First time owning a car. Need some guidance.

Recently picked up a 1995' Acura Integra LS as my first car. I love it already but I have no idea about what it is to be a car owner.I want to baby my car and I just don't know how to do that. I would love to learn about how my car works, what parts are and what they do/etc. I wanna learn this stuff because I want to learn about my car enough that I can figure out the problem when my car starts acting funky. Eventually I would want to start fixing at least some of the problems in my car. I wouldn't doubt that this place is a good place to start too. Any good advice or guidance to information would be more than appreciated.

Take a look through our technical and DIY sections for information and how-to's on general car/integra info. TeamIntegra.com also has good write ups if you are looking for something specific and can't find it here

You sound a little like me when i decided i wanted to troubleshoot my own s***. All your resources are at your fingertips. Do more reading and researching than posting questions. This is the first step. Ive read 1000x more than i have ever asked a question. When you come across something you dont understand, break it down and look it up even more. Start also with learning the tune up basics. This is how you 'baby' your car. Keeping it in good shape. Getting familiar with honda's specs and maintenance recommendations will help you familiarize with with is regular maintenance and what isnt. There are links at the top of the gen 3 forum with general information. Honda-tech's gen 3 forum also has general info, diy, and faq links at the top. learn your car and know what its parts do. I said do, not what it is. Cheers.

Oh and cool story bro!
