this movie is suppose to based on the journey of a monkey god but they changed it all around which now makes no sense to me. believe it or not the monk (jet li) isnt even suppose to fight. ill still watch it but the storyline is off track.

I thought they were on a mission to release the monk. I remember reading somewhere that jet li's character is the monkey king who can change his apperance. According to the Monkey King story, the monkey king was a really obnoxious and very cocky individual who challeneged the monk. The monk made a deal about something and the monkey king lost so he was trapped. Eventually the monkey king was needed to find this monk agian so a few others released him and got his help...or something like that.

This whole Monkey King story is kind of like the Dragonball Z character Goku. yeah, i was bored one day at work.

but the movie looks sweet.
