Finally got to run my car

Well I got a chance to run my car tonight. I was very happy with my traps but I need to improve the times. I was figuring out my launch control tonight. Launching needs some work but overall was a good night. i havent been on the track for a year now. And these times are with no LSD and no traction bar. Just peg leg on slicks. First time running slicks to.

Car has 446whp with 317tq. My daily driver. I have traps for low elevens but traction is still a bit of an issue

Times from tonight
12.348 @ 122.38 w/ 2.146 60'
12.153 @ 120.36 w/ 1.984 60'
12.109 @ 121.08 w/ 1.975 60'
12.217 @ 123.72 w/ 2.062 60'
12.037 @ 125.88 w/ 1.951 60'

Ya thats what I think to. I was told with my traps I could hit high 10's but I will have to wait and see. I just need a lot of practice. I am just shooting for mid to low 11's right now

A few more runs and a good lsd, you'll be in mid 11's I bet. You could hit high 11's with more runs on your current setup.

You probably could hit 10.9's if you practice you launching a lot and have a better setup traction-wise.

Overall, good job. I don't usually like drag-tegs, but yours is really nice and you seem to be able to handle it well :thumbs up

Thank you. I appriciate the compliment. I dont like full drag cars either but appriciate the street cars that drag a little. That is what I am hoping for. A clean as possible car that can run 10's if it wants on pump gas. I have to drive 75 miles to the track and then 75 mile home with my car. That is the closet drag strip.

not bad at all for an open diff....a type-r trans would make it very quick.

i think a traction bar and LSD would allow you run 10s

Impressive man! I love seeing members on here tracking their cars instead of just racing on the street! But I can imagine how fast your car would be on a street drag making an 11sec 1/4
