Exhaust!

Long Time no post :O
So, here's my issue!
Currently, my 98 GSR has.....well who knows what sort of demon spawn made the exhaust.....but I honestly think it's what caused me to start to lose my hearing. It's unbearable especially since i commute 300+ miles every weekend..
Finally got me a new job so I can fix it! :D
I've looked through the forum but can't really find specific results just general stuff.
Right now it's a 4-2-1 header, then just piped all the way back to the muffler.
So no Cat, or res chamber.
I want something as quiet as possible but without losing performance.
Yes I know, I want my cake and to eat it also.
Halp? :)

That's all well and good.....but I have no cat, it's straight pipe all the way from the darned headers.
So i needs a header-back type of thing...i'll try and get a picture u
The WS2 is a complete cat-back exhaust system. Just get an aftermarket high-flow cat (Magnaflow, Vibrant Performance, etc.) then you're set.

Nothing is going to quiet it down as much as a cat.

I have a Tri-Y header through 60mm (2.36") with one resonator finishing with a Mugen Twin-loop. No cat. Its getting pretty loud as is.

I suggest looking into a high-flow cat.

Yeah i'm not going to skip any parts, I want this to be a good system.
So after looking around on Apexi..
I'm thinking of going with the Apexi NOIR catback, then just a universal cat from JC whitney.
Think that'll work?
