i think they are so popular for wrxs because they have that 'japan tilt' that suburu drivers seem to love.

i think hat custom exhaust is the way to go... buy a universal muffler and and a glasspack. use te glass pack as a resonator and get a shop (car-x, midas, etc...) to do the pipping for you and have it welded into one peice.... i did mine that way and it sounds awesome, but its really loud because i got a magnaflow muffler.

i suggest you go custom with a brand name muffler, or get an entire catback from a good company. ebay branded stuff are always made from crap material. save yourself the headache and money and get a good system. as they say, you get what you pay for.
