engine bay apperance question

reports that simple green is a extremely effective degreaser but is known to eat aluminum. water it down at least 6 parts or so..

hahahaha yeah a took a lil of the red paint on my jdm type r valve cover hahahah but it was no biggy, i just switch to a less potent degreaser like orange blast hahahah n it didn't remove the paint.

the simple green took off the corrosion problem the paint was already flaky might be looking at a powder coated blue cover anyone know a good source in the Maryland area or online (no ebay)
