ECU Warning Code 80

My check engine light came on a week or two ago and I took my car to my mechanics house to see what code it was throwing. We got number #80, so we looked it up.

It says its the "Exhaust Gas Recirculation." What the hell does that mean? - I thought that was for diesel cars. He said he never seen that code before.

What do I need to do? Is that bad?

we dont? um then charcoal canister
Well, I asked on TI and they said we don't have them on our Integras. Civics don't either. Accords and Preludes do.

He said we either read it wrong or I have a a freak of nature.

What's charcoal canister?

hrmmm code 80 EGR System is on 2.5L(g25a1) engine and 3.0L(c3oa1). the only 94-95 has EGR System on code 12. do you have OBD1 or 2? if you got OBD1 you can clear them by
Stored codes are removed from memory by remvoing power to the ECU.
OBD2 by clear the control module memory with Generic Scan Tool (GST)
Clear the control modukle emory with the vehicle manufacture's specific tester.
not sure if thats what you need to do.

I'm going down to my local Acura dealer tomorrow morning to see what they come up with.
