if you are looking at a complete kit for less than 2000, its full of turbo xs and ssautocrome crap. ive bought many parts of ebay, just buy quality parts that are name brand.

So if I do decide to get a kit off ebay just make sure it's name brands and from a legit seller and I should be o.k.

The a/c is already out of my car and if possible I'd like to keep my p/s

Don't buy anything that is XS Power or sold by SSautochrome

and don't confuse XS Power with XS Engineering like so many people do. XS Eng. is quality stuff

I have yet to read of anyone installing an ebay exhaust manifold for their turbo build that didnt crap on them within 2 months time. Feel free to fill us in on some of your goals...suggestions for parts/builds will come when we know what you want the car to do.

I wouldn't. These cheap EBAY turbo kits are just playing with words here.

XS Engineering & RevHard = :thumbs up

XS Power & RevSpeed = :???:

dont buy it. PLEASE do it right the first time or dont do it at all. i know money is an issue for all of us but i'm pretty sure you'd rather fork out 3-4 grand for a full-race or equivalent rather than spending a few hundred bucks now for a 'turbo kit' that'll cost you a new motor in the future.

if you wanna go turbo, buy everything piece by piece and make sure everything is quality.. and they work with each other. that way you'll always be excited about having stuff come in but wont completely empty out your wallet at once.

good luck man.
