No, you need primer.
That means a minimum of two cans (one of primer, one of paint)

You would be safer to get a second ( if its a large can) or third (for smaller cans) so you dont run out partway through.

Yea, but sometimes you can get away without a clear, depending on how good the finish is on the last spray of color. Always nice to have an extra layer of protection though.

what kind of paint would you guys recommend to paint rims with? like what name brand is the best in your guys opinion?
