There is such a thing as a bolt out socket. It's to remove stripped bolts lol.

But zacks method is more my style and by adjustable wrench I think he's referring to a crescent wrench.
Bolt out sockets won't work because the nut is on the line, but I imagine that grinding down the bolt and going at it could work, but I'd rather not waste any time off I have on something that may or may not work, but thanks for the ideas guys! And adjustable wrench = crescent wrench by the way hahaha!

That's why I plan on bending the line enough so that it reaches where the filter is in the bracket. I'll be cutting off no more than 3 inches

UPDATE
I was finally able to get my hands on some flanges!! I'm not sure when I will be able to install the damn thing because my uncle (who knows how to weld and has the rest of the proper tools) and I have conflicting schedules. I'm also doing some prep work for the fuel filter fix, assembling necessary tools and parts for the main plan as well as plan b.

Does anyone have any advice for pulling out as much fuel from the lines as possible? I know the bottom bolt/line for the fuel filter has the most fuel in it and leaks quite a bit, I'm just wondering if I can do anything to keep the fuel leakage to a minimum. All I know is that it helps to do fuel work on an almost empty tank! :p

Thanks guys.
