Does your girlfriend/wife get mad when you talk about your car(s)?

I don't start relationships with girls anymore that can't share the interest in cars. The second they call it "stupid" I know there's no way it's going to work out with how much of a part of me they are. I can tend to be a bit reserved so my car's my main form of expression lol, at least how I see it.

Now fling things....I could care less.

My recent ex was a Rotard...84 rx7 and it was a blast and a half. She found new use for my B-pillar bar ;) . We even did detail days, she would shampoo/vacuum, and I'd be hitting the outside....it was just more so that we could enjoy it, mutually, but anyways...

Long story short I'm not one to waste my time haha

My ex didn't like it too much. She would act interested when I would talk about it and she liked the car in general but that's about it.
When I had my project going on she didn't care at all. She wanted to spend tons of time together and I would say that I need to get insert long list of things here done by insert very short amount of time here. She would act sympathetic while I was telling her then right after I was done talking she would get mad when I couldn't go do something other than work on my car.
She would come over to help me work on it once in a while and when she got to my place she would say "I thought you were joking about it," get mad, and go sit in the house by herself. After 5 minutes or so she would come out and ask if we were going to do anything and when I said "No, I need to get this done before it gets dark out in an hour" she would get pissed and leave. She would get really mad when I'd call her an hour later and ask if she was doing anything because it had gotten dark and I was done for the day.
It got to the point where I got about 5 solid hours of work done on the car in a week, and I needed this car to be my DD before my other car had another catastrophic problem. Eventually I told her that it was her fault for putting me in situations that prevented me from not finishing the car in the 4 week period I didn't have school, and for her to stop being a self centered bitch all the time. That's about the time when she became my ex.

That reminds me...my girlfriend said that she is going to leave me if i don't start paying more attention to her. I laughed and i told her " do what you want, but you aren't going to take my hobby and passion for my car away". And then she didn't talk to me, for the rest of the day. Haha...we are cool now though. She.just has her b****y moments a lot.

My ex girlfriend did. Back in 2010 I had my first integra, when I got my rota track R wheels she got really pissed. Eh better off single.

Most girls will not like the idea that you are spending money on cars, unless they themselves are into it too. Or you can just be fortunate to have someone that really understands you, and supports your hobby... or at least tries... lol

It always helps if that's one of their hobbies

Advice for you single guys. Keep your finances separate when you get married. That way she can't bitch about money shit as long as your half of the bills are paid.
