A guy that works at my local O'rileys offered me a fully built b16 head and another intake manifold for 500 bucks, and would install it for 150$, does this sound legit?, since I've gotten my teg a year ago I've wanted to lsvtec it, yays? Or nays?

2 exhaust manifold studs are snapped in my head and cause an exhaust leak btw -_-, so this would fix that too

do you know how to build a lsv engine? Do research then ask yourself the same question you asked.

To answer the OP; no, it sounds like a HORRIBLE idea. There is much much more to LSVtec then just bolting the head on..

^^ seriously, there's no way I would buy a "built" motor from someone. If I buy a motor I expect to tear it down and inspect rebuild before even thinking about puting it in a car. Unless of course it's from a reputable shop or it's come out of a car that I have seen driven and know about.

Terrible idea. Please research ls/vtec and ask yourself the original question..
