NO....u never buy a car that some1 has already modified...chances are almost 100% its been driven hard most of the time the person had it...i am going to see a 97 integra ls 5 speed tommorow in brooklyn for 5gs its only got 70k on it owned by a WOMAN thats wat u should be looking for...

a b18b is better than having a soch v-tec maybe thats why he did the swap. BTW 3g's is to cheap for a 98 civic there must be something wrong with it, I dunno. If its clean and legit and u feel it runs good go for it.

actually that is a b18b out of a 94-95 LS. you can tell by the valve cover.

90-93 LS valve covers looked exactly the same, only where it says "Honda Motor Corp" it has the "H" logo above it.
in 94, they kept the same style, but removed the H logo.
and in 96 they changed the appearance of the valve cover completely, to a much nicer looking cover. not blocky looking lol.

i agree that 3000 is a little cheap for a 98. to be safe, i'd just steer away from it. BUT then again, this also could be a great deal, and if you dont buy it, you'll feel bad for not getting it, because that would be the quickest little 98 civic you'd ever get for 3000. its up to you. very difficult decision indeed.

Well Thers Always A Car Fax U Can Do On The Car To See Some Kind Of Records. And The Tach And The Tail Light That Every On Hates Can Be Removed And Changed Simple No Biggie You Know Theres A Dum Ricer Out There That Will Trade U His Stock Ex Tail Light For The Altezza Ones. The Tach Fuck It If U Dont Want It On Ther Hat An Eazy 50 Buck U Just Made So Dont Get Discourage Test Drive It Take It To A Local Mechanic U Trust And Let Him Give U Professional Advise.
