Somebody do this. Lets see how long the motor lasts.

How long it lasts? Everybody needs to take a step back and look at the bigger issue. A lot of people focus on the fact that the exhaust is circling back in to the motor. They fail to see their is no way for air to get in there in the first place. Thus there would be no exhaust to circulate. lol In all the threads I have seen this posted in not once has someone mentioned that.

I was the first one to post in here, but I deleted it because I wanted to see what people said. Congrats, none of you thought it would work. haha You passed the troll test.

Dude there's gonna be air in the motor when you seal it up, it's just going to recirculate it. Your cleary not getting it.

Yea dude, you mean you never done it? Just start your car, run your intake into a bag of sand, preferablly 25lbs of it, and rev that damn thing up. It will port everything all at once, so much easier then that old school dremel technique. When your done don't forget to hook the hose up and wash it all out ;)
It was an Audi the guy did it too right? Probably ran just as bad before as it did after.

Yeah, enough to make it sputter if anything. After the sputter it'll just be some carbon and fuel circulating.

And LOL that 25lbs bag of sand one cracks me up every time. I hear it works well with boosted 1.8s.

lol just make sure to keep it out of boost so it doesn't damage the turbo.

Oh for sure man. Thats how I ported my head. Works like a champ. Gah I still can't believe people would try that. The other good one was when someone wanted to flush out their oil, so they started the car, took off the drain plug and after 10 minutes it was still coming out black. So, with the motor still running, they put a garden hose in their oil fill up to flush it out.

I knew that was going bad before it even got to the part with the hose. Just the fact they were doing an oil change with the motor on, which I actually thought was the joke! Turns out they took it to a whole new level... lol.

People like that is why we have warning labels on belts that say "Turn off engine before changing belts". And "Hot Surface do not touch" on exhaust manifolds...

What the hell...haha. I am all for putting warning labels on different areas of the car. And some people just shouldn't open the fucking hood.
