I actually have some but I'm not a huge fan. I actually was leaning toward spec-d clear lens and black housing tails.

So yesterday was a short workday. Couple hours and a lot of talking to my friend but I got my new ARP head studs installed, dropped the head down, got my cams installed, and put the intake mani back on with my new thermal gasket. Today ill finish it up and hopefully get it turned on.

Car turned on and idled fine! No leaks that I could see except from my valve cover. Getting a new gasket for that soon. Just need to run it, top off the coolant, and then she is ready.

Nice, man! Stoked to see this at the next meet. Such low miles.. Unfortunately something that low automatically leads me to believe they pulled the fuse. Don't get me wrong, it could be completely possible, just pure speculation on my part. If its legit mileage then what a come up!

How come the b16 head?

It is from a buddy that between him and his friend had it for close to its full life.

B16 head cause that's what my friend got. Haha. That and with it I can run my itr intake mani. I am looking into itr/ctr cams right now so hopefully I can get it tuned and dyno'd soon. I'm curious as to where it sits.

Oooo gotcha. I thought it was a gsr block & you went with a b16 head for some reason.. Not even sure, It's early lol.

It is a gsr block. B16/ITR head. It's a Frankenstein motor. LS crank and tranny but gsr pistons and rods and cams. Itr valvetrain and intake mani. Haha. It's weird but it has a lot of pep.

Today is troubleshooting day. Testing ac compressor to see if I have power going to it followed by compression test so I can get these rings replaced. Might dip into the front wipers today too but we will see how much time I have.

Ok. So it has been a little while since I posted here but I was in the process of getting things set up. So last weekend I finally had the man power and time to pull my engine. Was about to get most of everything pulled Saturday but had to stop at the block and axles since I had no lift.

First thing Sunday morning I finished with the axles and then went to pick up the lift. Had the block pulled and clutch assembly disassembled. Then it was clean up time. The next day I ran the flywheel and head to get resurfaced. Flywheel was done on the spot but the head resurface turned into a 3 angle valve job. 1 and 2 intake valves were shot. Got the head back and it is awesome.

This past weekend I got the new block installed into the car. the last couple days I havent had much time but I have everything reinstalled up to the top end and the rest of the wiring. Should have it finished up before the weekend but we will see.

For this swap I ended up replacing the passenger CV since I had a torn boot and a new axle was the same price almost. New timing belt. Block has a new water pump. New valve stem seals.

More to come soon....

Thanks. Sucks it is taking so long but I just don't have that much time to dedicate to it. But I finally got the engine together. Everything installed minus the belts and crank pulley and a couple wires that were able to avoid my detection. Hopefully I can get it running Monday. Have to wait until Monday to get a new key for the pulley and tranny fluid from Honda. So when is the next SoCal meet since I will have a car again. Haha
