DDM tuning HID kit

I installed a hid kit into one of my friend's DA. It was probably easy because he got a new headlight assembly. I drive a 94 LS with what i think is a stock headlight assembly. I don't want to play around in the dark too much with the bulbs trying to make them fit because it increased my chances of damaging them. I have seen a recent thread of people buying these bulbs, so i'm posting here so i don't damage them.
Here is a picture of the kit from DDM 55w 6000k hid kit: "(I'll post it from my phone in a second because i'm having issues with imageshack).
Do i just twist the bulb in? Positive fits into the red connector, and ground fits into the black connector with out doing anything special? Will zip ties do fine for holding it down or close by hole to mount?
thanks for reading.

connect those red and black cables to the red and black that powers your stock bulbs.....shouldnt be too difficult :-/

Does the bulb just twist in? That's my main concern because i can hook the wires up with butt connectors if they don't fit

Real Good!
i may be wrong but you may have the wrong bulbs.....mine dont have that
here is the right bulbs

if they ARE the wrong bulbs u can just buy the right ones and use the same ballast

as far as connecting them they are pretty straight foward, plug the oem plug into the ballast(if u get everything done and they dont work flip it over and try again), connect the ballast to the bulbs(plugs only go one way) then put the bulb into the headlight assembly.

to hold the ballast in place I USED zip ties and have had no problems, just put them against the inner fenders

yup they should, i have ballast off a 9007 set of bulbs on my 9005 bulbs with no problem
the difference is in the piece around the bulbs and what ever connectors u may have like what that first picture

i think those are the type of bulbs my friend used on his newer bdub rabbit, he needed adapters actually to connect those connectors.

EDIT: only thing i wouldnt do is run two different kinds of ballast on a set of bulbs, i would try to stay with pairs.

Thanks for posting all. I'll see what they say in their response to my email. I have a feeling since I tested them out I'll just have to order new bulbs, wait two weeks for shopping, and hope the bulbs are not another miss-pick.

I have DDM 35w 8k and they're not bright enough I was going to buy some replacement bulbs tomorrow because they are local and it's only $10 I was going to get 4300 or 4500k but can you post some pics of your Meng motorsports HID's? I might just replace the whole kit all together
