DC 4-1 Ceramic Headers. Why is my car running hot?

we're cool. im not the type to hold grudges over stupid things lol. but yeah im bringing it to my mechanic tomorrow since i've been busy for the past few days. and on a good note.... i put on my DC Header with thermowraps. 8)

w00t, wish i could get DCs for 70 bucks, i just ordered a megan for 150!
you dont need a mechanic to bleed the system though. all you have to do it take the rad cap off and run the car until it reaches optimum temp, when you see it start to drop you simply add more

I just did a rad on my car and was overheating, cause stupid me didnt bleed the system, but after i did that it worked perfectly

Damn dude. I got my brand new OBX for $40, and my JDM ITR for $220.

IMHO you need to flush the entire system. Prestone makes a flush and fill kit that includes an adapter for easy access. You just hook it up to the waterhose and it flushes your system clean. It's cheap too.

alright i checked it out. i have a leak, from the weirdest spot. the little plastic screw attached to the radiator. even though it was tight as hell. there's a little stream of fluid that finds its way out. has this ever happened to anyone?

nope but get some of that stop leak stuff. . . you just pour it in the radiator and it clogs where your leaking from . .. or just try to get a new plug . .. or put some sort of washer on there to stop the leak . . or get a new radiator . . . or do w/e you want . . .
