DC 4-1 Ceramic Header. Why is my car running hot?

Like the title says. i just bought a BRAND new set of DC 4-1 ceramic headers for 70$ off a local. i thought i'd like to share. hopefully it'll help me get some better gains and produce some better airflow. i cant wait to get it on.

and also i have a question.... i just replaced the fluids for my radiator and changed the thermometer. but i noticed that my car still overheats. is it because i dont have a heat shield for my current headers? --> meaning that the intake sucks in hot air into the cabin.

is there something wrong with the radiator itself. i checked for leaks. nothing. any inputs?

i have dc stainless headers with no heat shield and a SRI and my cars fine its probably something wrong with your radiator.

you might have a clogged unit or clogged hoses. . .. check check it out

or check the thermostat relay .. .if thats blown its not sending the signal to turn on your fans to cool down your radiator

Your engine won't run hot because it has a SRI breathing hot air.
Having no header heatshields won't make your engine run hot either.

Are you sure you bled all the air out of the cooling system? It would take quite a bit of air in there to make a measurable difference, but if you didn't correctly bleed the system of all the air, it's possible after a thermostat install.

btw, how does a SRI suck hot air into the cabin?

lol it was a theory. i dont do hands-on work with the cooling system. :???: everything else, yeah. but ill get it check soon before it starts to do some damage.

its a hell of a strech at a lame joke. and you screwed it up anyway. You changed headers to heads. you dont get a lot of heads, you get a lot of head.
