DB8 Whore
Hey everybody, I'm looking for a new project car and I'm pretty sure I want to go with a turbo setup so would it be more cost effective to save some money and just go for an ls/rs/gs rather than a gsr?

Thoughts?
So you thinking about getting rid of your DB7 then or just want another project car?

Say hello to maintenance costs out the ass. Its a good car (the gti) for the first few years..then you'll want to set it on fire, or who knows, it may do that for you on its own.

Well it's still under the bumper to bumper warranty for about a year and the powertrain for almost 3 years so I'm not too worried about anything at the moment. And yes, every car has their problems however the MKV is much more reliable (especially with the TSI motor that this one has) than the MKIV GTI's.

holy crap, your not really taking of the red stripe, that belongs on a real gti. it's a tribute to the mark 1 gti.
and golf are a dime a dosen out here, but that's because they are so reliable they stay going and going and going.
never had anybody say it burnt out.
