CV Axle Install

sick and tired of beating out the drivers side axle, it's a bigger bitch than the other one.
the expert tip is to remove the axle with intermediate shaft attached then it can be beaten on properly.

Ok guys we have been working on the passenger side front axle for 2days and we can't get the new one to lock in. Any suggestions would be great.HELP

inspect the c clip on the passenger side, you may not be lining it up correctly too. Also look at the splines in the differential. once its lined up it doesnt take more than a slight push to get it to go into place.

Okay so I just tried taking my axle out but it's not as easy as the write up. I don't have enough room to put a pry bar and it isn't wiggling out when I jam a flat head into it

get a smaller pry bar, use a hammer

i just wanna say i said fuck the lower ball joint and i get mine out by taking apart the UCA. works better for me

I do it that way since i have the extended ball joints. But either way a few taps of a hammer will free the ball joint, the bottom one i use a pry bar and a hammer.
