Well, I don't mountain bike, but I'm willing to bet there are plenty of fine trails to tear up, in the White Mountains especially.
Heck yeah Cali's expensive, you folks get taxed up the wazoo to pay for mad entitlement programs and free medical care and public schooling for your millions of illegal aliens. We don't have that problem up here, well, nowhere near the scale I guess you could say. N.H. is like 97% white or something like that.
No front plate = $150!!! Wow, the one time I got a ticket for that, like 8 years ago, it was around $45. The State raised the fines for alot of violations recently. I found this out the hard way, got my first speeding ticket in 7 years a couple months ago....doh! 24 over, non-highway, $200.
You won't get away with tint on your front windows for very long, you'll need to unload that ASAP upon arriving. I can't remember the legal darkness that's allowed, but it's not much. The tint on my rear hatch is the maximum legal darkness, but my side windows are 1 level darker than legal, hehe. I've been pulled over once for my tint in 6 years, but it wasn't really just for my tint, I got pulled over that day for "being young and driving a lowered import with an aftermarket exhaust" if you know what I mean. I only got a DE tag (defective equipment) for my tint and exhaust that day. They measured my side window tint, not the hatch.
I know some states have a set registration fee for every car, no matter how nice and new or old and shitty it is.
N.H has some of the highest property taxes in the country though, if not the highest. So that kinda offsets having no sales tax or income tax a bit.
And you can't buy beer after 11:45PM in N.H.
And you can't get hard liquor at any supermarket or convenience store, like you can in AZ for example, only beer and wine.
