And its probably because the group of honda guys I hang out with prefer function over form...A hood scoop on a inline 4 transverse mounted engine just doesnt have a function besides looks. But if its what hes got and likes it... Its his car, just if hes into improving performance money could have been spent elsewhere...

ya they gained 25-35hp from moving it or so i was told. and ya it wouldnt ever fit in there but would be unique i guess. but my hood gets the job done until i get my cf one

Yeah it gets the job done for sure, which hood were you gonna get? VIS or Seibon or another brand?

Would be unique and something more for a show car, but for function you would want it in the front....

About 10 months, so 15k miles or so.... Im just going to be getting stiffer ones so I dont bottom out as much

Yeah Idk how your going to fit a top mount on an inline 4 engine lol.... Definitely would have to piece that turbo kit together, and theres a reason all the faster STI's that came stock with a top mount intercooler, get rid of it and replace it with a front mount lol

so now starts the fun of wiring in the vtec? ur b20 bottom can handle the extra rpms right? sry im a noob to honda
it can handle I wont be even thinking about reving any higher than 8k the bottom end can hold up if i do a few higher revs but if i keep doing 9k shifts then my block is Fdddd

but cole i wouldnt of sold them im only trading them so i can get this gsr head. plus Ill end up getting another set of lcas later. I rather work on my CR-Vtec right now.

uhh you wont beat my b20vtec. you are under estimating the whp from a b20v to a stock ls.....

Im also upgrading to type r valve springs, and a few other goodies. I hope to be running CTR or ITR cams but my valves are gunna be reaaaaally close to my pistons haha

All the power in the world won't help if you can't shift ;) anyway it won't matter, when I'm turbo I'll still beat you and ur silly vtak :)

ha ill believe you will get a turbo when you actually have money! you haven't even lowered your car.
I shift fine i just make bad decisions some times or don't think. plus i think its this crappy ebay shifter il lhave my clutch fully disengaged from the motor and slowly go to shift and it wont catch in i have to mess with it to go in.

but i dont really want turbo I like the feeling of boost. but you pay way too much money and Im not a big fan. I rather build a N/A and have a solid 200whp motor

Ouch, that was a sucker punch to the balls lol. I'm getting there. Don't forget that I do it right, none of this cheap knock off stuff. Excuses are good, I like those. Still doesn't help the fact that at the moment I can still take you head on lol.

And I'm actually leaning more towards a compound charge... N/A can start to get really expensive...

yeah N/A gets really expensive but bragging rights would be cool haha. but you can take me on the high way. lets see if you can from a stop my car makes all of its power in 1st and 2nd gear at lower rpms. due to the fact its ment for torque not hittin that crazy vtec yet.
