Shuffle's a lot of fun, even when you end up with a terrible car. Learning the car on the fly is half the fun. Looking forward to this week's races :thumbs up

i had a $50 gift card at fry's. it was $44.99. $48.93 after taxes. figured id give it a try. no where to put a steering wheel and pedals so this looked like the next best thing.

yeah.

left and right only wheel (force feedback) where the D-pad was
right joystick is D-pad
X and [] is like the R2 and L2 triggers but look like pedals
in the middle, theres a digital readout percentage of how far the brake and gas are pressed
switch on the back for NFS an GT5 button layouts

I was curious about that controller, looked like it would be a nice drifiting controller.

okay. i lied about the force feedback. lol!

the wheel has some resistance to it and an automatic snap back feature like the joysticks.

it feels waaayy different and is going to take some time to get used to. but comfortable controller none the less. i like how the gas and brake pedals are raised. makes control over the pressure much easier.
i dont know if its me, but the wheel seems to turn a bit faster than the sticks. i just got to use it more.

but so far, so good.

^That guy really needs to work on smoothing out his inputs. Especially steering. Fortunately for him GT5 is pretty forgiving. Back on topic, that remote does look pretty nice. I'll be interested to hear how it turns out for you two.

How is GT5 compared to GT4 on the PS2? Is the "realism" factor about the same? Or is the handling of vehicles much more difficult?
