no, you cant, the clear coat is gone. You need to either wet sand it and have it re cleared or have the entire car repainted.

you do not need a new paint job..you can just re spray the clear BUT FIRST....get a primer plane and some 600 grit wet or dry sand paper. as long as you do not go through the paint you should be fine. get the hood re cleared...if your going to take it to macco make sure you do all the prep work first all they do is spray and like said above if will fall off in three months

(damn like 10 comments where I thought mine would land) lol

I agree with xxCaryxx the paint is the least you should worry about as for many of us is one of the last things to invest in our cars. why drive a car with a nice painjob that keep overheating??
if the car is stock and the engine is good shape I'd say go for it and stop looking for more acuras....if you hate the fade, get it primed if you don't like the idea of the maaco fading a few months later....a black prime wouldn't look bad plus it gives it that under construction look ;) lol but the main point here to get a reliable car and the rest comes as you choose. without a good engine there's no car even if it has the nicest paintjob.

plus I'm sure you have a certain color in mind. ;) think about it mane and good luck with your choice.
