Who's aren't? Mine do light up all the way, just the way the camera was in relation to the needles made it hard to see each one lit, but they all are no sanding needed here.i see that not all part of the needles are lighted up all the way to the tip. i think you were supposed to sand the underside a little bit before applying the new paint. the roughness on the needles is what spread the lights throughout evenly.
so what kind of paint and brand do you use. i've been trying to find time to get mine done for years now.

Paintwise, I just used Testors model paint, worked like a charm
