CF HOOD and HOOD PINS

hoods will fly if they are not secured down.

Just make sure your latch is good.

And if you do get hood pins, PLEASE make sure they are installed PROPERLY!
Came across a shattered CF hood on the highway once and when it flew off, the pins went with it!

And yes, this is a super old thread, that was bumped with no new, relevant information. It did enable a member to ask a related question, but if it wasnt for that, I would be all over the "look at the date" caravan.

now i have a cf hood with no hood pins, and it doesn't sit right is real ugly, i have sparco hood pins but i'd rather not use hood pins any idea's on how to fix my problem without using hood pins?

you need to adjust the bumpers, the rubber stops on the radiator support, they turn up or down

ya i tried that i have the one on the driver side all the way up and nothing so i don't really know what to do now, i'd really rather not use hood pins so any other ideas are very much welcome, thanks
