So to start off I have a 01 integra gsr and I installed my new AEM CAI and after about 2-3 days of driving it my CEL came on and I got it checked out and they guy told me it was my o2 sensor but he did not give me the actual code I did not disconnect any sensors when taking out the oem intake just un hooked it from the TB and installed the new one and when I did get the car scanned they erased the code does that reset my computer as well or no and I did not disconnect my battery before the install I know stupid me but I did not do i need to in hook my battery for 20 min or so to let the computer reset or could my o2 sensors really be the problem any help will be awesome thank you

Punctuation would make that readable....

You should have disconnected your battery. Try doing it now, car needs to reset anyway every time you do something like that to your car. Your sensors very well could be the problem, reset your car and The CEL will go away, if it comes back again one of your sensors is probably bad

And I forgot to mention, the car just rolled over to 30k original miles, the car is also supercharged with dc sports headers, full cat back exhaust and now my aem intake and I see where the breather tube goes on the intake do I need to plug that up as well, I do have a small breather filter on but nothing on the intake tube itself .

Supercharged? Have you got it tuned? Not having it tuned with a sc will throw a code.

Yes it's tuned I took it to a local shop here in Spokane, it was just weird that as soon as I took out the oem intake the cel came on. Im going to try and un hook my battery and reset my computer to see if that works if not reinstall my oem intake and un hook my battery when I do that and see if it goes off . I mean it very well might be my o2 senser though.

Well the CAI does pull more air than usual (that's the point duh :p ). Maybe since you put on the CAI, combined with the supercharger it's pulling more air than it's tuned to handle and causing an engine running lean CEL.

Very true I have never thought about that, but the damn thing sounds so good. If I keep driving it running lean could possibly burn my valves and pistons by chance or does that take more time I have driven it like this now for maybe 80-100 miles
